Claiming Orion was such a fun mix of paranormal romance, mystery, and small-town suspense. What really stood out to me was the relationship between the human and wolf worlds. The author did a great job making the connection feel emotional and believable instead of just throwing supernatural elements into the story for drama. The chemistry felt natural, and there was always this tension of secrets being hidden just beneath the surface.
The mystery surrounding the illness and the town itself kept the story really engaging too. There’s this constant feeling that something is wrong, and the suspense slowly builds as more truths start coming out. I loved how the town almost became its own character — full of hidden dangers, unanswered questions, and people keeping secrets from each other. It gave the story a darker atmosphere without losing the romance side of things.
One of my favorite parts was how well the author blended reality with fantasy. Even with wolves, supernatural bonds, and paranormal politics, the emotions and relationships still felt grounded and real. The fear, protectiveness, distrust, and growing connection between the characters made the fantasy elements feel believable instead of over-the-top. It balanced romance, suspense, and paranormal world building really well, which made the whole book super easy to get pulled into.
